Walk-and-talk counselling   

I offer an alternative to traditional face-to-face therapy where we meet outdoors and conduct the session while walking. 

The combination of physical activity and therapeutic conversation can reduce stress, elevate mood, and enhance mental clarity.

This can also create a less intense atmosphere for clients who find traditional therapy settings confining.

Session

Meeting online  

 Counselling sessions online offer flexibility and convenience while maintaining the same therapeutic goals as an in-person session. 

I use Microsoft Teams which is a secure platform to protect confidentiality. 

Meeting online is effective for a wide range of issues, and provides a convenient option to access therapy from wherever you are living or working, here or abroad.

How long does a counselling session last?

Sessions are 50 minutes long and often at the same time and location each week. We will meet face to face in my therapy room, or outdoors for walk and talk, or online. 

Solution focused brief therapy focuses on specific issues within a fixed timeframe. 

Open-ended counselling allows the therapeutic process to unfold at the client's pace, without pressure to reach certain goals by a specific deadline.  

What are your Fees?

My fees are 60.00 per individual session and 90.00 per couple per 50 minute session 

Payment is in advance and prior to your first session being booked. 

Payment is by bank transfer or using SumUp which is highly secure and accepts all major debit and credit cards using NFC, contactless or Chip and PIN. 

Do I need to prepare for my counselling session?

Preparing for a counselling session is not necessary but can sometimes help you get the most out of your time and make the experience more effective. This may involve reflecting on your concerns, being open and honest, and managing your expectations. 

Is Counselling confidential?

Trust is a big part in you feeling safe to talk to your counsellor about your thoughts and feelings. Confidentiality is important in creating this trust. Everything discussed in your sessions is strictly confidential. This means that any personal information you share is protected and will not be disclosed to anyone without your explicit permission. Confidentiality helps create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges without fear of judgment.
